Collaboration can spark ideas that travel further
The best ideas rarely arrive fully formed. They get sharper every time they’re handed to someone new.
An idea held by one person is fragile. It lives in one head, carries one set of assumptions and has one set of blind spots.
Hand it to someone else and something useful happens: they ask the question you stopped asking. They find the edge case, the simpler path, the reason it might not work — and occasionally, the reason it could work better than you imagined.
What good collaboration looks like
- Share early. A rough sketch invites contribution. A polished deck invites approval.
- Disagree in the open. Quiet doubts don’t improve anything.
- Write it down. Decisions made in conversation evaporate; decisions written down compound.
- Credit generously. People bring their best ideas to places where ideas are welcome.
This blog is part of that habit. Writing in public forces clarity — and invites the kind of feedback that makes the next idea better.
